Curious Cheetah gets up close with Irish tourist at the Maasai Mara

Curious Cat gets up close and personal with Irish Tourist Mickey McCaldin at the Maasai Mara Game reserve. Family friend David Horsey captured this tense moment.

According to David, the cheetah wasn’t scared and Mickey was relaxed but mostly concerned about the cheetah might trying to sit on his lap.

The pictures were captured on June 12 as they tracked a well-known family of cheetahs for a couple of days and they observed that they hadn’t had a kill for several days.

Mickey was out on holiday with his wife and sister, who are friends with David and his wife Vicky who’ve lived in Kenya all their lives.

Once the cheetah got bored of staring at Mickey, it turned away and looked out of the vehicle before ultimately jumping out
